Every year the Association organises an Outing
This year is no exception
We are delighted to confirm that the Association outing for 2019 will be to the Harrogate Autumn Flower Show on Sunday 15 September.
The show, which is organised by the North of England Horticultural Society, is one of the most spectacular in the country. It features a Nursery Pavilion, with 50 fantastic nurseries, a Floral Pavilion, with the country’s biggest exhibition of gardening groups, live expert demonstrations, the famous giant vegetable competition, a Cookery Theatre and of course, lots of shopping opportunities. You will also find plenty of catering outlets at the show.
The cost of the outing will be £28.00 per person.
This will include the coach fare, a tip for the driver and entrance to the show.
You can book your place at the Allotment Hut during hut opening times.
If you are paying by cheque, please make it payable to ‘Desborough Allotment and Garden Association’.
We would recommend that you book your seats early, from 12 July non-members will have the opportunity to join us if any seats are still available.
This ensures that the cost of the outing can be kept as low as possible.
